AJAX — Hola Sun’s series of winter 2019/2020 product launches has wrapped up after strong showings in Barrie, Toronto and Ajax.
The event series was supported by hotel supplier partners and hosted by Hola Sun’s sales director, Hugo Rocha, and Lessner Gomez, newly-annouced director of the Cuba Tourist Board in Toronto.
Following a successful 28-year run of offering exclusively Cuba product, Hola Sun is further enhancing its collection this winter season with a total of 12 Cuban destinations and over 185 hotels and resorts ranging from budget to five-star luxury.
There is something for everyone in the mix, including families, groups, nature enthusiasts, business travellers and sun seekers.
New hotels in this winter’s lineup include Royalton Hicacos and Melia Internacional in Varadero, Cayo Guillermo Resort Kempinski, Grand Muthu Rainbow, Angsana Cayo Santa Maria, Hotel Segundo Frente in Santiago de Cuba and the recently opened Iberostar Grand Packard in Havana.
Also new to this year’s product line are private house rentals offering from two to four bedrooms and located in popular city locations. They’re ideal for long stay vacations.
For clients looking to go beyond sun and sand, the Cuba specialist offers a variety of escorted coach tours ranging from seven to 14 nights, and sun & city combinations.
And if that isn’t enough, there is a whole spectrum of unique experiences that can be pre-booked for clients including hiking, yoga, shark diving, clubbing for the young and young at heart and city touring on electric bikes.
Numerous bonus value-add excursions are available for free in six of Hola Sun’s most popular locations.
Agents are encouraged to keep an eye on special ongoing client promotions with Hola Sun’s Fiesta Friday sales (on selected product) and HOLA100, offering savings worth $100 per adult on advance bookings.
Travel insurance is always highly recommended and with the flexible Hola Safety Ring Plan clients can purchase affordable travel protection for $50 per person that allows cancellation up to three days prior to departure.
Meanwhile agents can earn their own trip to Cuba through the Hola Sun Agent Loyalty Program. For each passenger travelled, a $10 per person credit will be banked towards a future Hola Sun holiday. Bookings are valid for passengers travelled from May 1, 2017 onwards and no blackout periods apply.
“We thank you for your support and we are looking forward to a successful winter season,” said Rocha at the recent Ajax event. “On behalf of Hola Sun, The Cuba Specialist, we want you to know that you can count on us!”
