MISSISSAUGA, ON — Xiamen Air, China’s first privately-owned airline and SkyTeam member, is now accepting MasterCard and Visa as forms of payment in Canada effective immediately.

Karl Müller, Xiamen Airlines Canada Director, said “Xiamen Air is a major Chinese carrier that is serving the increasing needs of corporate agencies, tour operators and leisure networks based in Canada. With an expanding Asian flight network and strong domestic route structure, airfares and connecting flights the carrier will facilitate travel planning for those needing to connect in Asia and within China using Xiamen Air. The acceptance of credit cards will now uncomplicate ticketing and payment even further. Xiamen (IATA MF/731) offers 3% commission on published fares to agencies, and can be booked in major GDS systems.
