MISSISSAUGA, ON — Air Promotion Group-Canada (APG-Canada) has been named the official sales and marketing representative for Xiamen Air (MF).

Xiamen Air is the newest airline to join the expanding international airline portfolio for APG-Canada. And, for Xiamen Air, this means that travel agents and consumers now have a dedicated resource to handle any queries, bookings or airline matters for agents and travellers in Canada.

Karl Müller, APG-Canada Director, believes strongly that support and service to the travel trade is key to market success for Xiamen Airlines and will enable more travellers to fly to more destinations in the region than ever before. “We are thrilled to be able to develop and promote Xiamen’s brand and routes in Canada. The airline clearly understands the needs and demands for travellers from Canada, and we are confident that our local sales presence will provide sterling support and easy access to the Canadian travel trade. In doing so, it will provide new product opportunities, as well as new routing possibilities, for travel agents, tour operators, cruise specialists and TMCs that are actively selling and promoting China.”

Xiamen Air can be accessed via all major GDSs for reservations and pricing in Canada. Stand-alone MF segment tickets can be issued using the YO IET program through normal BSP channels, which is available until the airline completes its formal entry into Canada BSP.
