TORONTO — Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel’s new Work Anywhere Day Pass and Stay Pass packages come with early morning check in and evening check out, plus the program offers two more options with the unique perks of working from the hotel lobby, or even from one of its coveted Skyboxes with views of Rogers Centre stadium.

The idea behind the Work Anywhere Day Pass and Stay Pass packages is to meet the changing needs of consumers, says Anup Israni, General Manager, Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel. Guests can cut out distractions and boost productivity, and get a break from months and months of working from home.

“The Work Anywhere program addresses the challenges of remote work in the current climate,” says Israni.

“Whether guests need a full day, alone or with their team, or an overnight getaway, we’ve created an enhanced remote work experience where every space is accessible in the most flexible way possible with full access to hotel amenities like our heated pool, hot tub, Starbucks outlet, Sportsnet Grill and in-room dining.”

The program was created in partnership with the hotel company’s loyalty program, Marriott Bonvoy. Marriott Bonvoy’s Day Pass and Stay Pass were created with input from consumers, hotel operations and corporate partners.

WORK ANYWHERE DAY PASS

The new Work Anywhere Day Pass makes a hotel room at Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel ‘your office for the day’, from 6 a.m. check in to 6 p.m. check out.

Work Station – Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel

Guests earn Marriott Bonvoy points on their booking and are provided with complimentary WiFi, local calls, parking for one vehicle, and a $5 Starbucks Gift Card.

Guests are also free to access the hotel’s fitness centre and heated pool when regulations allow. Each hotel room features a dedicated private workspace with desk, rolling ergonomic chair, multiple outlets, fridge, and bathroom. Rates start from $89 per day. Pets are welcome.

WORK ANYWHERE STAY PASS

Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel’s Work Anywhere Stay Pass, meanwhile, combines a pet-friendly Day Pass for work with an overnight or multi-night stay in some of the most spacious guest rooms in the city.

King Room – City View – Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel

The same early check in (6 a.m.) and late check out (6 p.m.) perks apply. In addition to amenities included in the Day Pass, guests also receive a $25 food and beverage credit daily that can be used at the lobby-level Starbucks or at the Sportsnet Grill restaurant.

Marriott Bonvoy members can earn Elite night credits and points on eligible hotel charges. Rates start from $163 per night.

WORK FROM LOBBY

Work From Lobby, also available at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel, is for those seeking a work-friendly zone with strong coffee and strong WiFi.

Available exclusively at the Toronto Marriott City Centre and bookable directly from the Front Desk, guests can work in the lobby from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For $15 a day, guests receive a $10 gift card redeemable at the lobby Starbucks for beverages, snacks, and treats.

With various table and seating arrangements, guests can choose to work while standing or seated and can easily plug-in to one of many outlets throughout the lobby.

THINK INSIDE THE [SKY]BOX

Israni says Think Inside The [Sky]box is a package perfect for getting a small team together safely.

Exclusive to the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel, four spacious open-air Skyboxes are available overlooking the Rogers Centre stadium.

Skybox – Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel

Each Skybox is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and includes an LCD TV, private bathroom, complimentary WiFi, and $10 Starbucks gift card.

Bookings can currently be made for up to four people per Skybox and are subject to regulation changes. Rates start from $119 per day.
