HAMPSHIRE, England — Emirates took top prize at Skytrax’s 2016 World Airline Awards this week. The annual awards event, based on results tabulated from passenger feedback, drew executives from over 40 of the world’s biggest airlines to the Farnborough International Airshow in England.

This is the fourth time Emirates has won the top prize. The airline also retained its hold on the World’s Best Inflight Entertainment category.

Emirates also improved its position across a range of awards categories performing well in First, Business and Economy Class survey sections and achieving a top-10 finish (10th) in the World’s Best Cabin Staff category.

“We are honoured to be recognized by the prestigious Skytrax awards…. We constantly invest in our product and services, both on the ground and in the air,” said Emirates President Sir Tim Clark.

“We listen carefully our customers, and then relentlessly challenge ourselves to deliver and exceed expectations.”
