Maria Ellen Galorport, sole proprietor trading as Budget Travel and Tours, has been charged with the offence of carrying on business with Maria Rowena Santiago Belen, who was required to be registered as a travel agent but was not in fact so registered, contrary to Section 20 of Ontario Regulation 26/05 made under the Travel Industry Act, 2002. The first court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 13, 2014 at 9 a.m. in the Ontario Court of Justice, 70 Centre Avenue, Toronto, Courtroom C6.
