Maria Rowena Santiago Belen has been charged with one count of operating as a travel retailer without registration contrary to section 4(1) (a) of the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002. Belen offered travel services in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario. A court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 4, 2014 at 9 a.m. at the Ontario Court of Justice, 70 Centre Avenue, Toronto in Courtroom C6.
