TORONTO — Congratulations are in order for two lucky travel advisors who’ve been named the winners of The Palm Beaches eLearning Program.

By participating in the program, which launched last summer on the Travelweek Learning Centre, Margaret Cairney has won a $50 Sobey’s gift card while Lyn Tan has won a $50 Tim Hortons gift card. 

The program provided essential information needed to better understand and sell the 39 cities and municipalities of The Palm Beaches. Various modules highlighted the destination’s family attractions, festivals and events, world-class shopping and famous beaches, with a five-question quiz reviewing each module. 

On what she thought of the program, Tan said it was “informative, easy to follow and not your typical program,” rating it as “fun and entertaining.”

Located in South Florida, just one hour north of Miami and roughly two hours southeast of Orlando, The Palm Beaches covers 47 miles of Atlantic coast beaches and is home to over 160 dive sites, over 160 golf course, and more than 80 parks and natural areas. Known for being a major golf and spa destination, The Palm Beaches also hosts various world-class festivals and events throughout the year, including the Honda Classic, the Winter Equestrian Festival, the Gay Polo Tournament, and the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival.

The Palm Beaches is accessible via the Palm Beach International Airport, and is situated a short drive from both Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport.
