WestJet to resume nonstop service between St. John’s and Dublin

TORONTO — It will be easier for Canadians on the East Coast to visit the Emerald Isle next summer thanks to WestJet’s nonstop service between St. John’s and Dublin.

Launching in summer 2025, the long-anticipated route will reestablish a direct connection between Newfoundland and Ireland, building on the strong historical and cultural ties between the two regions.

Said Sandra Moffatt, Director-Canada for Tourism Ireland: “This development offers Canadian travellers a seamless and efficient journey to Ireland, with just a 4.5-hour flight to Dublin. It has never been easier to explore Ireland’s rich history, vibrant culture and renowned hospitality. We are thrilled to further strengthen our partnership with WestJet, providing Canadians with unparalleled access to Ireland in 2025, fostering greater opportunities for tourism and cultural exchange between our countries.”

WestJet is enhancing its transatlantic offerings, including increased access to Ireland:
