TORONTO — The sales team at Unique Vacations Canada has an important message for travel agents: “Thank you for all you do … and let’s get ready for an incredible 2022.”

Led by Maureen Barnes-Smith, UVI’s Vice President Sales & Marketing, Canada, the team posted a 2-minute bilingual video message thanking travel advisors for all the work they do, their contribution to the company’s success, and most of all best wishes for the holiday season.

From day one in 1981, Sandals Resorts founder Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart “knew the key role that travel agents would play in the Sandals success story,” said Winston Chang – BDM, British Columbia & The Yukon.

“We couldn’t, and wouldn’t, be here without you, so thank you for all that you do,” added Donné Nixon – BDM, Alberta, Manitoba & Northwest Territories.

Despite the challenges, 2021 was a big year for Sandals Resorts, as it celebrated its 40th anniversary. “Forty years of love and trust,” said Giselle Williams – BDM, Central Ontario & Ottawa.

Barnes-Smith says the entire team at UVI Canada wishes its travel agent partners “a safe and relaxing holiday season with family and friends. Now more than ever before, please cherish this special time together.”

The company is ready for 2022, with no fewer than three new properties in Jamaica for clients to enjoy. As C.J. Smith – Senior National Sales Manager said: “Let’s get ready for an incredible 2022 … we can’t wait to see you in the Caribbean blue.”
