Located on the island of Medhufaru in the northern atoll of Noonu, The Soneva Jani – which celebrates its grand opening this month – has perfected the idea of paradise with an epic waterslide that leads directly into the ocean.
Though it looks like a pretty standard waterslide as far as waterslides go, the fact that guests can jump on from the resort dock and end up in the warm waters of the Indian ocean make it 10x better than those at your typical water park.
And if that wasn’t enough incentive to book a stay, the resort also boasts an outdoor movie theatre, overwater villas with private saltwater pools and hammocks that lazily teeter over the ocean.
