TORONTO — The countdown is on for the highly anticipated opening of the new W Toronto, scheduled to debut on July 21, 2022.

Located at 90 Bloor Street East in the ultra-chic Yorkville neighbourhood, the 11-storey, 254-room property was designed to reflect Toronto’s “brutalist’ architecture, graffiti art, grid-like sprawl, green spaces, and theatre and music culture,” says W Hotels.

Upon opening, the hotel will include three distinct beverage and food venues ranging from a coffeehouse to a rooftop bar and restaurant, accessible from street level via a dedicated exterior glass lift. Guests and locals alike will be able to enjoy plant-forward fare and Mediterranean-inspired tapas, plus W’s playful and original beverage program.

To appeal to the music lover in all, the hotel will also feature the first W Sound Suite in Canada, a private recording studio and creative space for artists to use. This original space will include a vocal booth, mixing equipment and lounge area to host recording sessions and unique private events.

Other hotel amenities include a 3,300 square-foot fitness facility and 4,600 square feet of event space.
