W Las Vegas Joins MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy

LAS VEGAS — MGM Resorts International and Marriott International have announced the official debut of W Las Vegas, adding the iconic 1,117-suite tower at Mandalay Bay to the globally renowned W Hotels brand.

As of Dec. 18, 2024, Marriott Bonvoy members can book stays and earn or redeem points at the property, which is now part of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy.

This move marks a significant milestone in the long-term strategic licensing agreement between MGM Resorts and Marriott International, originally unveiled in 2023. The collaboration brings together two hospitality leaders, providing Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards members with unparalleled access to each company’s portfolio of resorts, exclusive experiences, and enhanced rewards.

“W Las Vegas represents an exciting new chapter for MGM Resorts and for our guests seeking a sophisticated, all-suite luxury experience on The Strip,” said Travis Lunn, President and Chief Operating Officer of Mandalay Bay and Luxor. “W Hotels is celebrated globally for its unique style and exceptional service, and we look forward to seeing the hotel come to life through its distinct personality, dynamic programming, and elevated service culture.”

Since its launch in March 2024, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy has welcomed hundreds of thousands of Marriott Bonvoy members to MGM Resorts properties. This collaboration offers over 200 million Marriott Bonvoy members exclusive benefits and the ability to redeem points at MGM Resorts destinations across the U.S. MGM Rewards members can also status match and enjoy member benefits at Marriott’s global portfolio of approximately 9,000 properties.

With the addition of W Las Vegas, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy now includes 12 destinations on the Las Vegas Strip. These include: Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino; ARIA Resort & Casino, Autograph Collection; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection; and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, among others.

Details about planned enhancements for W Las Vegas will be revealed at a later date.
