MONTREAL — It’s been a remarkable year for Voyages en Direct (VED), Quebec’s leading network of independent travel agencies.
Since the start of 2024, the network has seen a significant increase in membership, welcoming 13 new members, including one outside Quebec. This brings the total number of members to over 125 affiliated travel agencies.
“Today, more than ever, travel agencies and advisors choose Voyages en Direct for the essential tools and support to succeed in a rapidly changing market,” says Johan Marjanek, Director of Business Development. “VED helps agencies grow, differentiate and thrive in our constantly evolving industry. Our growth over the past year is proof of this.”

In addition to the above Quebec agencies, VED also added Symphony Vacations, based in Kingston, Ontario and led by owner Philippe Archambault, to its network. This brings the network’s presence outside Quebec to four agencies.
Up next for VED is its training seminar on Nov. 27-29, held at Club Med Charlevoix. The event will bring together 400 advisors and more than 20 supplier partners to share knowledge and explore new collaboration opportunities.
In addition, by year’s end, VED will unveil a new AI-powered virtual assistant to support travel advisors.
