TORONTO — Virtuoso has welcomed eight new agency owners and managers to its Canada Member Advisory Board.
The new members were appointed following recent elections for Virtuoso’s global and regional Boards and Committees. During Virtuoso Travel Week, which took place from Aug. 10-16 in Las Vegas, outgoing and incoming members of the board had a chance to meet in person, with new board members and advisor advocates beginning their three-year tenure and outgoing committee board members agreeing to stay on until Dec. 2024 to ensure a smooth transition.
“The support and guidance of our outgoing Regional Member Advisory Board has been invaluable as we navigated the pandemic and an incredibly busy rebound in the travel industry,” said Úna O’Leary, general manager, Virtuoso Canada. “We look forward to welcoming our new board members as we rely on their counsel, new ideas and support of their peers and the entire Virtuoso network.”
The eight new Canada Member Advisory Board members will represent their region on various committees, working with their counterparts across the globe to foster collaboration and innovation, establish best practices and guide network decisions to benefit agencies and advisors, their clients and preferred partners.
Each member represents a different committee within the Virtuoso network. The Canada Member Advisory Board includes the following:
- Stephen Smith: Canada Representative for Virtuoso’s Global Member Advisory Board
- Caroline Hay: Cruise Committee
- Blair Jerrett: Marketing Committee
- Samuel Spencer: Technology Committee
- Rob Blowes: Events Committee
- Aaron Levine: Destinations & Experiences Committee
- Cathy Holler: Hotels & Resorts Committee
- Kim Cross: Air Committee (interim)
