The World Airport Awards have just been released based on votes by customers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax. The World Airport Awards are a global benchmark of airport excellence, and widely known as the Passengers Choice Awards.
Vancouver airport was a big winner coming in top spot for Best Airports in North America and 3rd for Best Airport: 20-30 million pax per year. Toronto Pearson ranked 6th globally for Best Airports: 40-50 million pax per year.
Halifax Stanfield ranked in Best Domestic Airport and Best Regional Airports North America, while Billy Bishop also placed in this category.
Vancouver, Toronto Pearson and Montreal all ranked for Best Airport Staff in North America.
