BARBADOS — Canadians had a strong showing at the annual Sandals Global Sales Conference, where four members of Unique Vacations Canada were recognized with individual honours.

Held recently at Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados from Aug. 23-26, the conference was hosted by Gary C. Sadler, O.D., Senior Vice President of Sales, Unique Vacations Inc. Over 180 sales team members from Canada, the U.S., South and Central America, the U.K., Europe and the Caribbean attended the three-day event during which they participated in breakout classes and team-building and learning activities featuring interactive talks by Sandals executives.

During the conference’s awards ceremony, members of Unique Vacations Canada took home awards, including two of the evening’s top prizes. Winners included:

• Winston Chang, Business Development Manager, Western Canada: Regional BDM of the Year, Canada and National BDM of the Year – North America

The conference also featured notable speakers including: Tammy Gonzalez, CEO, Unique Vacations, Inc.; Jeff Clarke, COO, Unique Vacations, Inc,; and Gebhard Rainer, CEO, Sandals Resorts International. Mia Amor Motley, Prime Minister of Barbados, delivered the keynote speech.
