TORONTO – Two tourists – one from Britain and the other from France – have been arrested after stripping down to their birthday suits and posing for nude photos at Peru’s most sacred site.

According to Mashable, guards at Machu Picchu saw the two men disrobe to take photos on a mobile phone. The two were detained at a local police station and charged with moral misconduct.

Fox News has identified the man as 23-year-old Briton Adam Burton and 28-year-old Frenchman Eric Xavier Mariec.

After several instances of nude photo-taking and streaking in recent years, Peruvian authorities have made a conscious effort to step up security at the UNESCO World Heritage site.
