TORONTO – Coming in December, Sunwing will be launching new nonstop flight service from Vancouver to Costa Rica, making it the only carrier to offer this route direct from YVR.
Departing on Sundays between Dec. 23, 2018 to March 31, 2019, the weekly direct service to Liberia will be operated on the airline’s new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Last year, Sunwing became the first to offer a direct flight from Vancouver to Montego Bay, Jamaica. With the addition of Costa Rica, Vancouverites can enjoy access to 11 different Sun destinations this winter season.
