TTC Tour Brands hosts inaugural Advisor Alliance in Alberta

CYPRESS — It was a meeting of the minds at TTC Tour Brands’ inaugural Advisor Alliance, held last month in partnership with Travel Alberta.

During the invite-only business summit, 20 travel advisors and TTC Tour Brands representatives spent a week sharing feedback, planning and networking to enhance their travel business.

“Travel advisors play a pivotal role in our success, and it’s essential that we continue to provide avenues for them to share their feedback and ideas, enabling us to better support their business,” says Melissa DaSilva, interim CEO of TTC Tour Brands. “At our inaugural summit this past week, advisors shared invaluable insights into our processes and a deeper understanding of the trends advisors have identified across the industry. Partnering with Travel Alberta not only enhanced the experience for advisors and team but also gave us a glimpse into the types of exceptional experiences we’re all striving to deliver for our guests. We are grateful for Travel Alberta’s support and look forward to expanding our collaboration in the future.”

Several interactive sessions took place during the summit, all led by members of TTC Tour Brands. These included:

  • How to better support the travel advisor community through every interaction and touchpoint, including local support and technology
  • “What would you do if you were the TTC Tour Brands CEO?”, a session designed to understand the hurdles and challenges travel advisors face in their business
  • A focus group on new marketing initiatives and positionings for feedback on how these updates might resonate with advisors’ business and clientele

Travel advisors had the chance to provide feedback about their experience working with TTC Tour Brands to key members of the team, including Madhvi Buch, Global Head of Business Solutions, Ashley Woodring, VP of Sales, Priscilla Odoom, Partner Marketing Manager, and more. They discussed opportunities to better work together such as giving advisors the chance to provide feedback about new marketing before it launches, and TTC Tour Brands’ tech policies and benefits.

But it wasn’t all business; advisors also had the chance to explore local sights with Ryan Elliott, Travel Alberta’s Managing Director-USA, who led the group on a hike in Banff National Park, a walking tour of Calgary, a visit to Lake Louise, and a face-off on the ice with the Canmore Eagles Hockey Club.

Hosting the inaugural TTC Tour Brands Advisor Alliance was an incredible opportunity for Travel Alberta to showcase our destination to some of the most qualified advisors in the industry,“ said Elliott. “This event aligns with our focus on driving demand for Alberta’s fall season and allowed us to highlight the best of TTC Tour Brands’ itineraries. By immersing these advisors in authentic moments, we empower them to connect with Alberta on a deeper level, equipping them with valuable insights and knowledge to share with their clients. TTC Tour Brands is a valued partner in the US and Canadian markets, and this event strengthened our partnership as we collaborated on new itineraries and future opportunities.”
