TORONTO — Just three months after announcing its brand new cruise program, Trevello Travel Group is already seeing a boost in sales with most of its cruise line partners.
Led by Caroline Hay, the program has led to increased sales well over year-end 2019 sales figures, following the launch of new training products and agent-friendly resources. In January, Trevello hosted a two-day ‘Get Ready for Wave’ training event for over 250 travel advisors and 22 cruise partners, and also launched weekly formatted cruise training sessions, drop-in virtual cruise chit-chats, and a cruise-focused Facebook group.
To further support travel advisors, Trevello also created a Cruise Portal where they can access updated promotions, training materials, tips and marketing tools that will help them develop their cruise businesses.
“Trevello’s dedicated Cruise department is the only one of its kind in the Canadian Host Agency space and we’re committed to keeping up with the latest industry trends and providing the best possible service to its advisors who sell – or want to sell – cruise vacations,” said Hay.
In recognition of its cruise efforts, Trevello Travel Group was recently honoured with the Celebrity Group Superstar Award for 2022, which Hay said is a testament to the support of its travel advisors.
