BRANTFORD, ON — TravelOnly, the family-owned and operated wholesale/retail travel agency Canadian company with 40 years of experience and more than 600 travel agent professionals across Canada, has added two new executives.
Emily Crane has been named the new director of sales and marketing, and brings 15 years of industry experience in sales training, motivation and mentoring in the home-based travel industry. “Emily has proven abilities in strategic planning, project management, process improvement and training,” said the company.
She started out her travel industry career with Flight Centre as a retail agent and was able to progress within that organization in the ticketing, product and human resources departments. She was Manager of Administration and Operations then Business Leader of Flight Centre Associates, Flight Centre’s home based division, for over five years.
In her most recent role, Crane was Vice President of Operations and Systems at the bespoke travel company Scotia Inspire and Black Tie Travel.
Sinthia Gawlak will be responsible for the overall Associate experience with TravelOnly. She brings her extensive experience with CIBC where she held a number of senior roles in retail, technology, operations and finance; she was the SVP of sales and development for TravelOnly from 2005 to 2009, before returning to CIBC.
Gawlak co-chaired CIBC’s Philanthropy Committee supporting United Way, Run for the Cure, Movember and JDRF. She has been a long-time volunteer narrator for AMI-audio, an audio reading service available online and broadcast across Canada for people who are blind or partially sighted.
Both join the TravelOnly team at the end of this month. Their goal will be to increase the team’s sales and service effectiveness and grow each consultant’s business year over year.
