MISSISSAUGA — TravelBrands has teamed up with Royal Caribbean International (RCI) to help support hurricane victims in The Bahamas.
The two companies have vowed to match all agent donations made by Oct. 31. Agent can donate from their Loyalty Points account, with donations going to the Bahamas Disaster Relief Fund.
Plus, for every RCI booking made online through TravelBrands between Sept. 16 and Oct. 31, agents will earn 2x Loyalty Rewards points, which will be added to their accounts once passengers have sailed. Points can then be redeemed for a multitude of rewards including merchandise, travel, gift cards and the ability to donate to foundations and charities.
“Bahamas is a beautiful country that serves so many Canadian travellers and agents year-round. Now is the time for us to come together and help our Bahamian friends,” said Nathalie Tanious, senior vice president, TravelBrands. “We want our donating efforts to go as far as possible, and that is why we partnered with RCI to triple agents’ donations. Any amount helps and we thank you in advance for supporting this important initiative.”
To donate points to the Relief Fund, agents can log onto the Loyalty Rewards account and click on the ‘Donate’ button. From there, they must select the amount they would like to donate: $10, $25, $50 or more. Once the donation period is over, both TravelBrands and RCI will match the grand total, tripling the total amount.
