MISSISSAUGA — To show families in need some extra love this holiday season, TravelBrands and its CEO have made significant donations to Food Banks Canada.

A total of $5,000 has been donated on behalf of TravelBrands, while CEO Frank DeMarinis has followed suit with a $5,000 donation of his own.

“Our team always looks for new ways to give back to communities in Canada and this year was no difference,” said DeMarinis. “We’ve seen the amazing work Food Banks Canada has accomplished across Canada and I hope our donations will help support their goals and help Canadians in need.”

DeMarinis added: “On a personal level, I felt inspired to match TravelBrands’ donation to give back to those in need. I would like to wish the travel community and all Canadians a happy and safe holiday season.”

TravelBrands has supported multiple charities and organizations over the years, including SickKids, the Mississauga Food Bank and various local shelters and youth services. Food Banks Canada works at the community level to relieve hunger, utilizing a network of food banks and food agencies to assist Canadians who struggle with food security.
