TORONTO — Travel Leaders Network’s EDGE conference kicked off earlier this week in Colorado with over 1,500 attendees getting the chance to network with supplier partners and connect with other travel advisors.
Taking place from June 12-15 at The Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, this year’s EDGE (Educate, Discover, Gather, Evolve) includes multiple General Sessions to announce new programs and tools for TLN members, as well as over 200 workshops, a trade show, and an Experience Lounge for appointments with Travel Leaders Network staff experts. Three new events will also be making their debut: Destination Connections, during which advisors will meet with tourism board partners in small-group appointments; Hotel & In-Country Partner Marketplace; and a gala dinner to honour EDGE award winners and those who’ve achieved a TLN Specialist Certification this year.
“EDGE 2022 is going to be an amazing conference,” said Roger E. Block, President of Travel Leaders Network. “As the travel industry continues its remarkable recovery, EDGE is a time to celebrate all that TLN members have achieved and that the best is yet to come. It is also a valuable opportunity for TLN members to get ideas and gain connections that can help them as they bring their travel agencies to greater success.
“By the time EDGE concludes, I have no doubt that Travel Leaders Network members will be heading home not only with great memories of a fun time, but with ideas they can use to build their businesses.”
This year’s keynote speaker is Bruce Poon Tip, founder of G Adventures who most recently served as executive producer of a new documentary film, ‘The Last Tourist,’ now available to view on demand.
Prior to EDGE’s official opening, the Luxury Leaders Alliance, TLN’s exclusive group for its top luxury sellers, held a one-day learning event on June 11. Participating members had access to luxury air, cruise, tour and hotel suppliers with content devoted exclusively to the luxury travel advisor’s needs. Travel Leaders Network’s other Alliance, the Host Agency Leaders Alliance, also held a day-long conference on the same day that brought together leading hosts in the consortia for networking and education.
