MONTREAL — Transat has announced its August winners for its Surprise Dates Contest, all of whom have won an all-inclusive stay down south.
Janice Dennison of CAA Travel in Brantford, Ontario (Ontario-Atlantic), Beverly Harbour of Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Western Canada), and Nicole Marion of Marlin Travel Embrun near Ottawa (Quebec-Ottawa) have won a package for two, including Air Transat flights in Economy and a one-week, all-inclusive resort stay.
Dennison won a stay at Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Harbour won a stay at Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla in Cancun, Mexico, while Marion will enjoy the comforts of home at Paradisus Cancun, also in Cancun, Mexico.
Also, $30 in Bonbon rewards were awarded to the following agents in a random draw among all participants:
- Ontario-Atlantic: Louise Massia of Sears Travel Service located in Mississauga, Ontario and Gayle D’Costa of Transat Travel located in Markham, Ontario
- Western Canada: Joanne Poirier of Transat Travel located in Edmonton, Alberta and Dan Dunn of Flight Centre – Commercial Drive located in Vancouver British Columbia
- Québec-Ottawa: Alain Proulx of Voyages Evasion Monde in Quebec City and Isabelle Bergeron of Voyages Laurier Du Vallon also in Quebec City
To mark its 30th anniversary, Transat will draw at random a total of 30 surprise trips for two this year – three surprises each month from February to November – from among eligible travel consultants in three Canadian regions: Ontario-Atlantic, Western Canada and Quebec-Ottawa. The draws will be held on predetermined (but secret) milestone dates in Transat’s history. There is no need to register the reservations since the contest entries are automatically made as soon as a consultant anywhere in Canada sells a Transat flight, package or cruise on the surprise day.
