MONTREAL — Transat has released its 2020-2021 South brochure with more than 320 properties in over 30 destinations, including Cuba, Mexico, the DR, Jamaica, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guadeloupe, Honduras, Martinique, Panama, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten/St. Martin and El Salvador.

Transat wants agents to know that the electronic version of the brochure is available now on Transat Agent Direct.

The company adds that a print version of the brochure will be distributed over the next several weeks, one copy per agent, as travel agencies reopen.

Agents will get Bonbon rewards on every booking, here are the details…

• $30 per room (6x Bonbon) on the Luxury and Distinction Collections packages;

• $15 per room (3x Bonbon) on South, Florida, New Orleans, Spain, Portugal and Duo packages.

FOUR COLLECTIONS

Transat’s popular collections — Luxury, Distinction, Family and Solo— are back for winter 2020 / 2021. The Luxury Collection now offers clients early check-in and late checkout (subject to availability), as well as free access to the spa’s water circuit once per stay.

The Distinction Collection features four new hotels: Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana Resort & Spa, Now Natura Riviera Cancun, Ocean El Faro and Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. Clients can save up to 25% on wine selection and/or extras at à la carte restaurants. There’s also the new perk of unlimited or additional guaranteed reservations.

There are also four new resorts in The Family Collection: Hotel Playa Costa Verde, Hotel Playa Paraiso, Marival Distinct Luxury Residences and Impressive Resorts & Spas. Early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability.

Six new resorts have been added to The Solo Collection: Be Live Adults Only Los Cactus, Allegro Palma Real, Be Live Collection Cayo Santa Maria, Occidental Arenas Blancas, Bahia Principe Luxury Samana and Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa. Solo clients will save up to 25% at the spa and up to 20% on a select variety of excursions, plus they’ll receive a welcome basket in the room upon arrival.

Duo packages with Transat are available in Colombia, Cuba, Guadeloupe, Honduras and Puerto Rico.

In the U.S., Transat is offering New Orleans and Orlando, with packages including flights, accommodation and transfers.

Meanwhile Transat’s Here Comes the Sun promotion offers extra flexibility on new bookings of South packages made by Sept. 11, 2020. Perks include Transat’s Price Drop Guarantee, a reduced deposit of only $100, and Option Flex included for free, which allows travellers to cancel or change their booking at no charge or to transfer their package to a family member or friend.

BROCHURE PICK-UP

With ongoing travel restrictions, including the advisory against non-essential travel outside Canada, Transat notes that it may have to modify its flight and hotel offer subject to changes in demand and travel restrictions.

Transat says agents can join its Facebook page to find out where to pick up the South brochure “very soon”, adding that agents will have the opportunity to get their copy and meet with Transat representatives in a casual setting that respects social distancing guidelines.
