TORONTO — Trafalgar’s 2020 Europe & Britain itineraries have just been announced, totalling 118 trips across 49 countries, including eight brand new itineraries and six new destinations.

Calling it “the most diverse product offering for the brand to date,” the program is including trips to several emerging destinations in Eastern Europe for the first time, including Macedonia, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Albania and Montenegro.

“We’ve seen a growing interest in destinations in Eastern Europe and the Balkan cities as guests look to explore destinations further that are off the beaten path,” said Michael Unrath, Trafalgar’s Head of Product for Europe and Britain. “These destinations still offer the things clients love about Europe: timeless cultures, incredible cuisine and stunning landscapes.”

Each trip in the 2020 suite includes at least one of Trafalgar’s famous ‘Be My Guest’ experiences, which range from dining with a count at a 16th-century Italian villa, to breaking bread with villagers in the mountains of Turkey, to dinner in the home of one of Ireland’s top celebrity chefs.

For guests looking to make a social impact while on their travels, Trafalgar’s ‘Make A Difference’ experiences are available on many of its itineraries. It’s also important to note that Trafalgar has removed single-use plastic bottles on all of its coaches throughout Europe and continues to offer travellers a paper-free option with its leading e-document solution.

Further, the company has emphasized total transparency for its guests and travel agents next year. As the first brand in travel to use FEEFO, the third-party verified satisfaction rating, which currently sits at 4.7/5, the company has taken it one step further by including FEEFO ratings on every trip page of its brochure.

To entice clients to book early, Trafalgar has announced a 10% Early Payment Discount on the land-only portion of select vacations. A deposit is required on booking and the full amount must be paid by Dec. 18, 2019, or no later than 60 days prior to departure from Canada for land-only guided vacations, or 90 days prior for guided holidays including train, cruise or internal flight. Offer is not valid for trips featuring Oberammergau, Costsaver or any other offers.
