TORONTO — Trafalgar has launched its new 2019/2020 Asia program with 27 itineraries, including 10 new trips for 2019, to 44 cities across Japan, India, Nepal, China and South East Asia.

Best of China with Yangtze Cruise
On Trafalgar’s new 15-day Best of China with Yangtze Cruise, clients will discover everything from the iconic capital of Beijing to Xi’an’s Terracotta Warriors, elegant Shanghai to a voyage along the Yangtze River. A visit to the Museum of Sichuan Cuisine teaches travellers about traditional cooking practices and customs. In Xi’an guests can take part in a JoinTrafalgar experience by meeting students and teachers at a local primary school where they will discover how their visit will support pupils’ education.
Classic Japan
Also new, this 10-day journey to three iconic cities and three former capitals blends ancient sites with modern cities, and also includes boarding the high-speed bullet trains to Kyoto and Hiroshima.
Classic Japan with Matsue and Osaka
On Trafalgar’s new 14-day Classic Japan with Matsue and Osaka adventure, clients will explore ancient capitals, modern cityscapes and feudal castles. In Matsue, guests will enjoy some free time for lunch before joining a ‘Local Specialist’ who will teach them how to make waga-shi, a traditional Japanese sweet, before relaxing on a cruise of Lake Shinjiko.
