Tourism Ireland celebrates kick-off to Halloween week with trade partners

TORONTO — Tourism Ireland gave its trade partners a good scare with a fun Halloween party highlighting the Emerald Isle’s claim to fame as the origin of the spooky annual event.

The evening get-together took place at Casa Loma in Toronto. The Gothic-Revival castle-style mansion is the perfect setting for ‘Legends of Horror’, the attraction’s immersive theatrical experience, one that gets more popular with every passing year.

Sandra Moffatt, Country Manager, Canada for Tourism Ireland, notes that the festival of Halloween originated in Ireland, with the ancient pagan celebration known as Samhain. “And we love any excuse for a celebration with our favourite partners!” said Moffat.

Moffatt and her team kicked off Halloween week with drinks and canapés followed by the Legends of Horror experience.
