TORONTO — Travel advisors can earn bigger rewards this summer as Sunwing Vacations launches an exclusive 5X STAR Points promotion on vacation packages featuring flights operated by WestJet.

From April 7-30, 2025, travel advisors can earn 5X STAR Points, which can be converted to cash on every Sunwing vacation package booked for travel between May 29 and Oct. 31, 2025, to sun destinations in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba and more.

The initiative aligns with the final integration of Sunwing Airlines aircraft into WestJet’s fleet, expected to be completed by May 29, 2025. All Sunwing package customers will continue to enjoy the benefits of booking and vacationing with Sunwing, including access to hundreds of all-inclusive sun packages, with the added value of travelling on board WestJet to/from destination.

When flying with WestJet, customers can enjoy enhanced connectivity across Canada with more year-round service, free carry-on luggage (plus a personal item) included with all Sunwing vacation packages, and complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages on board.

Additionally, clients who book early can take advantage of Sunwing’s Early Booking Baggage Incentive. Travellers who secure their vacation by the first of the month, for departures scheduled at least two months later, will receive their first checked bag free of charge on qualified bookings.
