Globus to launch Small Group Discovery tours in 2025

TORONTO — Globus is going small in a big way in 2025 with its new Small Group Discovery tours.

This entirely new type of tour is specifically designed for travellers looking for a more intimate atmosphere with small group travel. More than 50 Small Group Discovery tours will be available around the world in 2025.

“Our new Small Group Discover tours were built from the ground up, specifically for small groups, with unique accommodations, exclusive excursions and special access throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, South America and the South Pacific,” said Scott Nisbet, president and chief executive officer, Globus family of brands.

Small Group Discovery tours are available throughout Europe, North America and exotic destinations like Kenya, Costa Rica, Colombia, Cambodia, Australia and Japan.

With an average group size of 15 (18 outside of Europe), Small Group Discovery tours offer more freedom and flexibility to explore local sights and participate in immersive experiences. These include spending the night in a former Franciscan Monastery in Pienza (‘Enchanting Italy’); a ‘Viking’ sushi tour (‘Inspiring Iceland’); guided sightseeing with a local painter and a painting class in Arles (‘Paris & Provence’); a horse-drawn carriage tour in Beaufort (‘Southern Charms’), and overnighting on the islands of Brac and Hvar (‘Croatian Island Hopper’). 

In addition to new Small Group Discovery tours, special small group departure dates will be available on most other Globus tours, limiting the group size to an average of 24 travellers. This means Globus will offer nearly 250 tours and 5,000 departures of tours catering to small groups.
