TORONTO — G Adventures is ramping up its new product development with the addition of over 100 itineraries for 2025.
The expanded lineup, which spans multiple travel styles and destinations worldwide, is part of the company’s biggest product expansion to date.
New itineraries include adventures across the Balkans, Finland and Africa, with options available under G Adventures’ Local Living, Solo-ish, Geluxe, Classic and 18-to-Thirtysomething styles.
“Following on the heels of one of our largest growth years ever, this year we will be launching hundreds of new itineraries in both new destinations and old favourites,” said Yves Marceau, vice-president of product for G Adventures. “We are being very intentional about new product development, noting regions where our offerings can benefit from more flexibility as well as expansion into regions where we haven’t been in the past. As with all of our itineraries, our priority is supporting local communities, and we’re thrilled that our new offerings will expand that positive impact, while offering travellers some incredible new ways to explore our world.”
More Ways to Experience Peru
Recognizing that a multi-day trek to Machu Picchu isn’t for everyone, G Adventures has expanded its rail-based options to the historic site. The newly revamped train-to-Machu Picchu experiences allow for extended stays in Cusco, interaction with local communities and a scenic train ride through the Sacred Valley. Additionally, a one-day Inca Trail hike can now be added to existing Peru itineraries, offering flexibility for travellers who want a mix of adventure and cultural immersion.
Peru’s Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu By Train is a seven-day itinerary that offers time to explore Cusco, the Sacred Valley and the Planeterra-supported Ccaccaccollo Community and Women’s Weaving Co-op, before taking a train journey to Machu Picchu. Pricing starts at $1,349 per person.
Solo-ish Travel Expands
G Adventures’ Solo-ish style, introduced to cater to independent travellers seeking community, has been expanded with new destinations, including Uzbekistan and Cambodia.
- Solo-ish Uzbekistan: This 12-day trip immerses travellers in the cultural crossroads of Uzbekistan, featuring historic cities, bustling bazaars, and traditional Uzbek music, dance, and cuisine. Pricing starts at $2,749 per person.
- Solo-ish Cambodia: A reimagined 10-day version of one of G Adventures’ most popular Classic itineraries, this trip includes visits to Angkor Wat, the Cardamom Mountains, and the turquoise waters of Koh Rong. Pricing starts at $1,749 per person.
Cold-Weather Adventures on the Rise
With increasing demand for winter travel experiences, G Adventures has introduced several cold-weather itineraries, incorporating cultural and outdoor elements unique to each destination.
