TORONTO — A Toronto man is facing a fraud charge after what police describe as a scam that ensnared dozens of victims.

Local police say the fraud involved trip arrangements made through Tri-World Travel.

Police say the accused man allegedly accepted payments for reservations that were never booked.

Frank Cardona is facing one count of fraud over $5,000.

Police say they believe there may be other victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
