TORONTO — Topdeck Travel and Blue-Roads Touring have promoted Vicki Ioannou-Theophilou to Director of Business Development for the Americas.

The new role, which comes nearly two years working as a Business Development Manager for the Eastern Canada region, will involve overseeing key distribution partners in the Americas and developing, coordinating and implementing new strategic plans to advance existing business and secure new sales opportunities.

Ioannou-Theophilou is also tasked with forming new business partnerships with the brands’ key distributors while further managing relationships with current distribution partners.

In the years prior to joining Topdeck and Blue-Roads in 2018, Ioannou-Theophilou managed business development operations for GTA Wholesale, a leader in the provision of ground travel and services to the travel industry. She also spent 14 years in sales for Air Canada Vacations, along with additional positions and experiences in the travel and tourism sectors.
