TORONTO — Travel agents have the chance to earn big Aeroplan Miles with Air Canada Vacations’ new and exclusive Preferred Resorts program.
The incentive program for agents, which will run between August and November of 2014, will recognize top selling agents with generous ‘ACV & Me Rewards’ Aeroplan Miles.
The overall top selling agents will be rewarded between 50,000 and 100,000 Aeroplan Miles – enough for trips to the Caribbean and beyond.
According to Air Canada Vacations’ President and COO, Eamonn Ferrin, the incentive program is a way for the company to show appreciation to travel agents. “Canadian travel agents are our partners. Our new Preferred Resorts program rewards our guests with generous Aeroplan Bonus Miles, so we wanted to reward the agents that book the trips with us in a similar fashion.”
At the end of each month during the four-month period of promotion, the top three agents who have booked the highest number of passengers in the 5,000 Aeroplan Miles level of Preferred Resorts will earn 50,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles each. The top three agents who have booked the highest number of passengers in the 2,500 Aeroplan Miles level of Preferred Resorts will earn 25,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles each.
The top agent who sells the highest number of overall passengers in the 5,000 Aeroplan Miles level of Preferred Resorts, over the four-month period of promotion, will earn 100,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles. Similarly, the top agent who sells the highest number of overall passengers in the 2,500 Aeroplan Miles level of Preferred Resorts will earn 50,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles. If one single agent were to win the top spot in both categories, they would earn an incredible 450,000 ‘ACV & Me Rewards’ Aeroplan Miles.
More than 140 Preferred Resorts are available in Air Canada Vacations’ Mexico, Caribbean and Las Vegas destinations. From now until Nov. 30, 2014, Aeroplan members who book with Preferred Resorts can receive either 5,000 or 2,500 Bonus Aeroplan Miles per booking, in addition to the 1,000s of miles earned with every flight on their Air Canada Vacations package.
