TORONTO — TICO’s Board of Directors has approved a payment from the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund.

The claim was for of $227.02 to assist two consumers who did not receive travel services for which they had paid.  

The payment was due to the failure of Hawaii Island Air Inc. o/a Island Air which ceased operations on Nov. 11, 2017.
