TICO announces conviction of Alistair Hamilton

TORONTO — After being charged by TICO in fall 2022, Alistair Hamilton was convicted of one count of operating as a travel agent without being registered.

Alistair Hamilton operated out of Hamilton, ON selling European tour packages to consumers who were part of a social club. Hamilton at times operated under the name Flower of Scotland Travel Club.

He was fined $12,500, inclusive of a victim surcharge and sentenced to a two-year probation. He has previously been charged and convicted of operating as a travel agent without registration.
