TORONTO — Vacation.com will host more customized and interactive training sessions across Canada throughout October as part of its 17th annual Canadian Fall Regional Conferences.
Building on its branding, the theme for this year’s series of Fall Regional Conferences is ‘Think Bigger’ and they will offer more training opportunities as members discover how to increase efficiency and profits with tools including Agent Snapshot, Agent Universe, CruisePRO and Worldwide & Select Hotel Programs.
Registration is now open and space is limited for all four upcoming Regional Conferences taking place across Canada and will occur at the following regions:
Each Regional Conference will challenge Vacation.com members to ‘Think Bigger’ within their agency by bringing them the tools and training needed to help grow their business. The program agenda for the Regional Conference was crafted to blend Vacation.com program news and training with partner updates, networking opportunities, a trade show and more.
Events will feature three hours of classroom sessions that will cover the technology, marketing and selling tools available to members, social media boot camps, Agent Universe trainings and Vacation.com member orientations. With the consumer web booking engine SIRRVA successfully launched exclusively for the Canadian marketplace, the eCommerce technology update session is expected to be in high demand again this year.
New to the upcoming Fall Regional Conference is featured speaker Denise Harper of G Adventures who will lead the Power Speaker Sessions by providing valuable guidelines on ‘How to effectively market to millennials’. With two decades of experience in the travel industry, Harper is an accomplished executive in Sales and Account Management.
Since early 2013, Harper has been the Canadian Director of Sales at G Adventures. In this role, she is responsible for growing G’s business with agency partners and works closely with each partner to deliver strategic consulting, including business plans and sales strategies.
“Vacation.com’s Canadian Fall Regional Conferences provide ideal opportunities for both our owner/managers and front-line agents to maximize each program and to learn how to tailor them to their own business needs,” said Christine James, Vice President, Canada for Vacation.com. “Each will offer an unforgettable day of learning and networking that has proven both popular and successful year after year. In the process, they’ll be inspired how to ‘think bigger’ to get the most out of their valuable Vacation.com membership.”
Following the educational sessions for each conference, members will meet and network with more than 30 partners during a one-hour trade show, followed by a full-course plated dinner, where several grand prizes will be drawn. All attendees will be eligible to win one of the many travel prizes being offered this year.
“The ultimate goal for Vacation.com members who attend a Canadian Fall Regional Conference is to learn realistic ideas that will make a positive impact on their business and are easy to implement. We strongly encourage our members to take advantage of every opportunity they have to network with our supplier partners who are here to help them grow,” added James.
