Direct flights to St. Kitts with Air Canada set to start Dec. 19

The St. Kitts Ritz-Carlton Resort Hotel and Residences coming in 2028

BASSETERRE — The St. Kitts Ritz-Carlton Resort Hotel and Residences is set to break ground in 2025, with an eye to opening the luxury hotel in 2028.

St. Kitts Tourism Authority said it is thrilled to share the news, noting that the development marks a new chapter for the island’s hospitality and real estate offerings, positioning St. Kitts as a premier luxury destination in the Caribbean.

Lift to St. Kitts includes seasonal, nonstop flights with Air Canada plus and U.S. airline connections through major gateways.

“This venture represents a transformative moment for St. Kitts and Nevis,” said Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew. “Our administration has delivered on our promise to finalize an agreement with The St. Kitts Ritz-Carlton Resort Hotel and Residences, and this exclusive destination will not only elevate St. Kitts as a luxury destination but is also anticipated to create significant opportunities for our people.”

Situated on the Southeast Peninsula, The St. Kitts Ritz-Carlton Resort Hotel and Residences will feature 125 guest suites, 10 branded villas, and 15 branded condominium residences. Amenities will include a spa, multiple pools, dining options, The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club, the Ritz Kids Club, and other amenities designed within a ‘Kittitian Village’ concept.

Construction on the property is anticipated to begin by Q3 2025. The St. Kitts Ritz-Carlton Resort Hotel is expected to open in Q2 2028.
