The Palm Beaches breaks visitation record, welcomes Amrit Ocean Resort

WEST PALM BEACH — The Palm Beaches welcomed a record-breaking number of visitors in the first half of2024.

From January to June 2024, The Palm Beaches welcomed 5.19 million visitors, a 1.7% increase compared to the first half of 2023. This marks an all-time high compared to the same period from previous years.  

International visitation grew to an all-time high of 488,100 visitors, an 11.9% increase compared to the first half of 2023. In the first half of 2024, Canadian visitation grew by 4.9% to 224,100.

Visitor spending also reached an all-time high of US$4.05 billion, a 2.4% increase compared to the first half of 2023.

Further boosting the destination’s appeal is a long list of welcoming accommodations, including the newly opened Amrit Ocean Resort.
