TORONTO — It’s never nice to make fun of people, but what about towns and cities? Are they fair game to poke fun at?
Estately, a real estate website, has compiled a list of the ‘Most Oddly-Named Towns in Each U.S. State’, and honestly, we can’t help but giggle over a few of them!
The inspiration behind the list, said Estately, was to pay homage to America’s most unusually named cities, towns and unicorporated communities. It studied dozens of maps to find such classic gems as ‘Satan’s Kingdom’ and ‘Toad Suck’.
Some names are super unfortunate (‘Dull’ and ‘Big Sag’ don’t really paint a pretty picture), while others are just downright fun (we’re already planning a trip to ‘Ding Dong’). There’s even a ‘Little Canada’ on the list, which we’re assuming is a tribute to this great country of ours!
Here’s the full list below – try to contain your LOLs!
