TORONTO — A well-known and much-loved industry veteran is celebrating 25 years with one of the best-known brands in all-inclusive resorts.

Maureen Barnes-Smith, Director of Sales & Marketing, Unique Vacations Canada Inc., affiliate of the worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, is marking 25 years with the company this month.

Barnes-Smith has been an integral part of the organization since joining in 1994, as the first office manager in their Canadian office, and holding a series of progressively responsible roles including human resources and operations.

In 2009 she was promoted to her current position following Gary Sadler’s promotion and subsequent move to Unique Vacations in Miami.
