“These suites will be very popular,” said Faith Sproule of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia-based Niche Travel Group. “For couples who want to get away and reconnect, the Sandals butler suites are perfect.” Sproule’s clientele includes military couples, who would welcome the option of having a private villa offering so much as well as access to the resort’s endless amenities.
Sandals Ochi Beach Resort features 16 dining options – including new additions such as The Southern Table offering casual American cuisine, Le Gourmand for a la carte French cuisine, Tapas on the Riveria, for internationally-inspired sharing plates at the beach and The Jerk Shack, for authentic Jamaican cuisine under the palm trees near the Great House Village main pool. Butler Village guests also get exclusive access to Kelly’s Dockside, an open air seafood restaurant located on the Sandals pier.
For late night fun, the resort’s amphitheatre, Swim-up Pool bar, Miss Ethel’s Piano Bar and Polo Lounge have been popular haunts, but now there’s more nightlife options. The Popcorn and Palms Outdoor Movies area offers a twice a week movie screening under the stars, the Sundowner Bar is an oceanfront rooftop bar with fire pits while The Rabbit Hole brings big city retro style as the first speakeasy in the Caribbean, offering a cosy spot for nighttime revelry.
