MONTREAL — Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) treated some 50 of its top travel advisors from Transat Travel and Voyages Transat agencies across Canada to a Bravo Excellence Club reward trip in the south of France.
This initiative also provided an opportunity for the owners of franchised and affiliated agencies within the TDC network to acknowledge their team’s efforts.
“We are thrilled to relaunch our Bravo Excellence Club trips, which had to pause in recent years,” said Karine Gagnon, General Manager, TDC. “Exceptional sales results were the key criterion for selecting participants in this trip. These remarkable individuals have not only excelled throughout 2023 but have also distinguished themselves through their outstanding performance. There’s no better way to reward their passion and dedication than by immersing them in the very essence of their field.”
Advisors landed in Lyon on Air Transat, exploring nearby attractions such as Vienne-Condrieu. Highlights included visits to Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse, Croix-Rousse, Fourvières, the Cité du Chocolat and the Guigal vineyards.
The journey continued to Marseille, where participants explored the local fish market, the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilization (MUCEM), and took in a boat tour of the Calanques. The group also visited some of France’s picturesque villages, including Lourmarin, Gordes, and Aix-en-Provence.
The pinnacle of the week was the recognition evening on the terrace of Sport Beach in Marseille.
“Every reservation you secure is more than just a transaction – it’s a testament to your commitment to offering exceptional service, translating into memorable travel experiences,” Gagnon told agents. “Your ability to connect with customers and understand their needs ensures that we consistently exceed expectations, and TDC is grateful for your daily dedication.”
Gagnon also expressed gratitude for TDC’s partners who worked to make the trip happen: Transat, the Marseille Tourism, Leisure and Convention Office, Aéroport Marseille Provence, Only Lyon, the Aix-en-Provence Tourism Office, Destination Luberon Tourism Office, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Tourisme, and Jumbo Tours France.
