TORONTO — MSC Cruises Canada has named Tammy Thompson as BDM for Ontario and Atlantic Canada, based in Toronto.

“We are pleased to welcome Tammy to the MSC Cruises Canada family and look forward to working closely with her as she leads business development,” says Ian Patterson, Country Manager, Canada for MSC Cruises. “As a talented and seasoned manager of tourism marketing, coupled with Tammy’s enthusiasm for cruising, we look forward to seeing Tammy drive MSC Cruises towards new opportunities in the Canadian market.”

With 20+ years of experience in tourism marketing and sales both nationally and internationally, Thompson managed in-destination operations in destinations for Thomas Cook North America / Sunquest Vacations and then returned to Canada to take on a marketing role with the Cayman Islands Dept. of Tourism.

Most recently, Thompson served as the BDM representing Barcelo Hotel Group in the Canadian market.
