SÃO PAULO — In line with its strategy to strengthen connectivity internationally, LATAM Airlines Group and affiliates will launch two new international operations in addition to new frequencies.
TAM Airlines tickets on the new service from Toronto to Sao Paulo via New York (JFK) and on the new nonstop flight between Orlando and Brasilia can already be booked. Tickets on the three new frequencies that will result in TAM Airlines daily service between Miami and Brasília will be available soon.
TAM Airlines will operate all routes using the modern Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. The aircraft is configured with 191 seats in Economy Class and another 30 in Premium Business, a class recently launched by the company featuring more space between seats that recline up to 180 degrees.
With a completely revamped interior, passengers will have access to individual onboard entertainment with 110 movies of various genres and TV series. Music and access to Duty Free products is also available.
The TAM Airlines launch makes Toronto the seventh destination for LATAM Airlines Group and affiliates in North America. It will be served five times a week, as an extension of TAM flights JJ8103 and JJ8102, which fly every night between New York (JFK) and São Paulo/Guarulhos in Brazil.
The extension service to Toronto starts on March 29, 2015. Flight JJ8103 will leave Toronto at 4:35 p.m. and arrive in New York at 6:30 p.m. (local time). The return flight JJ8102 will leave JFK airport at 11:15 a.m. and arrive in Toronto at 1:00 p.m. (local time).
