Kelly Predmesky and Mark Spillane

Swan Hellenic North America expands sales team

NEW YORK — Swan Hellenic North America has expanded its North American sales team to meet increasingly strong growth, particularly through its partnership with Virtuoso.

Kelly Predmesky has been promoted to a new position of Director of National Accounts, where she will manage day-to-day sales and marketing plans and be the primary contact for Virtuoso, “ensuring it and any future consortium accounts receive the focused attention they deserve,” says the cruise line.

Mark Spillane recently began with Swan Hellenic filling Kelly’s former position as Director of Sales, Eastern USA. He brings extensive director-level experience in the expedition sector, most recently as Director of Expedition Sales for Seabourn, and prior to that in the same role with Crystal. Previously, Spillane was at Silversea under Cheryl Topalian, now Swan Hellenic NA’s Director of Operations.

Spillane will concentrate on developing travel agency sales in the Eastern U.S. and at the same time he will also work with Predmesky to develop sales with Virtuoso throughout North America and Canada, as will Eric Bacon (Director of Sales, Western U.S. & Canada) and Rolf Logan (Director of Sales, NA Groups), in addition to focusing on their respective areas.

“I’m very proud of our North America team. These changes will enable us to deliver even more focused partner support and customer service, advancing our high-end reputation as the pioneers of cultural expedition cruising,” said Joe Maloney, Swan Hellenic’s VP Sales, North America.
