TORONTO — Sunwing has brought back its popular Sun Week featuring big deals, big contests and an even bigger grand prize.
Now in its second year, the weeklong extravaganza kicks off on May 29, 2023 and runs until June 4, 2023, allowing travel agents to book their clients’ summer getaways to destinations like Cancun, Cayo Largo, Punta Cana, Montego Bay and more at up to 50% off per person on applicable all-inclusive vacation packages.
Plus, customers who purchase a package or flight only during Sun Week will be entered to win one of many exclusive prizes, including gift cards from Sunwing, Vanilla Visa, Indigo Walmart and SkipTheDishes, each worth $250 in value. Also up for grabs are five pre-paid vouchers for a NexusTours excursion and two complimentary vacation packages for two to Punta Cana and Cayo Largo.
And with every contest comes an epic grand prize, and Sun Week is no exception. Sunwing is upping the ante with a giveaway of three free all-inclusive vacations to one lucky winner.
As for travel agents, on every eligible booking, they’ll have the chance to win one of seven Sunwing gift cards valued at $250, and the coveted prize of one of three stays at Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort, Riu Palace Peninsula or Riu Palace Riviera Maya in Mexico, including airfare.

Sun Week is open to legal residents of Canada. Every customer who books a vacation package or flight only within these dates will automatically receive ten contest entries, including those made by agents where they will continue to earn STAR Agent Reward Points that convert to cash on all Sunwing bookings. By June 22, 2023, Sunwing will inform agents should their clients win one of the coveted prizes, and the client will then be notified by the agent directly. Non-purchasing customers are also eligible to enter Sunwing’s Sun Week but are limited to one entry per day and must complete a contest form found on Sunwing.ca.
