TORONTO — Sunwing Vacations is now selling the newly-opened Grand Memories Varadero.
Offered exclusively by the tour operator, this is the first hotel within the popular Memories chain to carry the ‘Grand’ distinction in recognition of its impressive standard of service.
With 1,110 rooms and suites, Grand Memories Varadero caters to all vacationers through its three unique sections: Family, Adults Only, and the upgraded Diamond Club section.
Families will be attracted by Grand Memories Varadero for its active children’s club with supervised activities, splash pad, convenient dining options and the array of room options including the Master Suite which accommodates up to six people. Activities include non-motorized water sports, basketball or soccer on the multi-sport court, tennis, beach volleyball, billiards, ping pong, and more.
A Sunwing Relax Resort, the all-suite Adults Only section of Grand Memories Varadero is located right beside the beach and offers inclusions such as 24/7 room service, access to a private club house and cigar bar, an exclusive pool, and access to ‘Ave del Paraiso’, an international à la carte adults only restaurant. The lush tropical setting is ideal for romance and the resort offers a host of honeymoon and wedding packages.
Discerning guests wishing to upgrade to Diamond Club also enjoy a privileged location beside the beach, as well as a host of upgraded services and amenities including: private Diamond Club Lounge access, butler service, preferential dinner reservations, an exclusive beach area with dedicated bar and waiter service, select premium drinks in the Lounge, an upgraded room service menu, nightly turndown service with pillow menu, complimentary early check in and late check out when available, upgraded in-room amenities, robes and slippers for use in room, mini-bar restocked daily and a 10% discount on spa and beauty treatments.
All accommodations at Grand Memories Varadero have modern appointments including a satellite television, electronic in-room safe, in-room liquor dispenser, stocked mini-bar, and air conditioning.

All Sunwing packages include direct flights with Sunwing Airlines, Canada’s third largest carrier, flying to Varadero from 26 different gateways during the winter months. A week stay at Grand Memories Varadero is available from $445 plus $350 tax per person and is based on double occupancy of a hotel room on an all-inclusive basis departing from Toronto on either June 10, 17 or 24, 2015.
